Chicago!

On the Amtrak train from Cleveland to Chicago. A 7-hr train ride. Was a long journey compared to taking the plane but the seat was comfortable and spacious and I slept quite well =D

The Field Museum
An accumulation and dissemination of knowledge, and the preservation and exhibition of objects illustrating art, archaeology, science and history. This is also where the movie 'Night at the Museum" was filmed!

The walk from the museum to Navy Pier

Navy Pier
Rides (ferris wheel), entertainment (acrobats, dances, jazz, etc), dining and shopping on Lake Michigan. Reminded me of Clarke Quay in Singapore, and very much like Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

Sears Tower
Similar in function to the Empire State Building and the Rockefeller Center in New York City i.e. to get a view of the entire city landscape. However, because it rained and the sky was extremely foggy, resulting in the visibility at the top to be 0-5miles, and subsequently ZERO, we didn't go to the top in the end. What a pity... cos my friends who have been here said the view was much nicer than the one in New York!

Giordano's Pizza
This is seriously the best pizza i have ever tasted in my life! Forget thin crust, stuffed crust, pizza hunt or california kitchen... try this deep-dish pizza! Just look at the amount of ingredients and oozing cheese.. and the crust is so crispy! You see it, don't you?

The Cheesecake Factory in Chicago
By far my fav restaurant in the US becos all their items are so good... needless to say, their cheesecakes too. Tried it in Colorado once.. had it again in Chicago.. and was tempted to have it again in San Francisco. Didn't in the end though.. cos there were many more things to try there.
