my graduation trip

For my graduation trip, i had decided to sign up for the work and travel program. Some of my frens felt it was stupid to pay 1.4k for the program alone.. but there were several reasons i had to justify this trip. First, i felt it was the last chance i had to do such work (working as a food host in a themempark) before i turn into a professional. Second, it was a job in a themepark in a foreign country where things would be different from singapore.. including the service, the people you work with, and learning about the operations in a themepark. Third, this company actually hires alot of international students.. so it was a chance to know more international friends and learn from them. Fourth, if i didn't sign up for this program.. i figured i won't be travelling far. Being able to work n travel at the same time also gives me more time (2 months) to experience life there... i m pretty sure travelling solely as a tourist (which i have many chances to do so in the future) and going there as an employee, living and working with the locals, would be a totally different experience altogether. yeap.. so off i went on 3rd May 2007.. to Cedarpoint in Ohio, the United States.
